Kids Club!

St. John’s UMC invites all kids in Buena Vista, grades 1 through 7, to join Kids Club! Kids will have the chance to play, eat, and learn together in a fun, welcoming environment. Kids Club will meet on Buena Vista City Public Schools (BVCPS) teacher workdays and half days on the following dates:

  • May 21, (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

Open to All:
Kids Club welcomes children of all backgrounds—regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. This is a Christian ministry where Bible stories will be shared in a welcoming and respectful manner. Snacks and meals will be provided throughout the day.

Registration Information:
Parents must complete a registration form for each child, which includes name, address, contact information, and a consent/release form. On the day of Kids Club, children will register at the check-in table and receive a name tag. Registration is limited to 50 kids. You can find the registration form below.

Classes: Kids will enjoy participating in a variety of fun and educational activities, including:

  • Science class
  • Food class
  • Magic class
  • Writing class
  • Hand tools class
  • Story time
  • Playtime
  • Crafts
  • Bible story time

Cost:
Kids Club is free of charge. While donations are appreciated, they are entirely optional and will be used to support Kids Club.

Safe Sanctuary Policy:
St. John’s is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children. All volunteers have completed thorough screening and training in accordance with our Safe Sanctuary policy.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions:
If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate these on the registration form. We will make every effort to accommodate specific dietary needs to ensure all children can participate comfortably.

Church Family:
St. John’s United Methodist Church hosts Kids Club as part of our commitment to community engagement and spiritual growth. We warmly invite you and your family to join us for Sunday worship services at 10:00 a.m., where you can experience our welcoming congregation and enriching programs.
