Stewardship, Promise Sunday on Nov. 19

Every Sunday and every time, it is a joy to reconnect as a church family. Coming together brings us happiness and strengthens our bond. We cherish the opportunity to worship and learn together. Together, we have supported each other through challenging years.

We are thrilled to celebrate the goodness of God and your unwavering commitment to St. John’s this year! Your dedication has made our ministry, mission, and moments of success a reality. As we enter into stewardship, let’s build upon this momentum and continue to transform our community. Together, we can create even more impactful and meaningful experiences that reflect the love of God.

We believe it’s important to use our time, talents, and treasures wisely, which is why we’re inviting you to fill out a Commitment Card. This card encourages you to challenge yourself to give financially, time-wise, and with your unique skills and passions.

Together, we’ll work towards building the kingdom of God on earth.

Promise Sunday is Nov. 19, when we’ll celebrate our ministry and mission. You can mail the card to the church or bring it on Nov. 19. During the worship, we invite you to bring it to the plate in the front.

There is still time if you have not provided an Estimate of Giving. Please bring them to the church or place them on the offering plate.

If you have any questions, please contact Kitty Irvine or Pastor Hungsu.

“2023 has been a busy year for St. John’s. We said goodby to Rev. Caddell and welcomed Rev. Lim and his family. The parsonage required a great deal of work and TLC to ready it for a new family. In addition to providing necessary funds, our church furnished a great deal of labor for this project. The work provided an opportunity of fellowship and common purpose. This unity carried over as we welcomed the community to St. John’s during the Fall Fest. As we look forward to 2024 we hope to build on these activities and make our church a friendly, active and wholesome part of our community. Please join me in making a promise to support St. John’s with your time, talents, gifts and service in 2024.”
